The weather is finally staying warm enough to warm up my pool. I hoping to have a chance this weekend to get some sun. Work before play and I have tons to get finished for my up coming classes.
I wanted to focus on the Designer Series Paper that is being offered in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Some I like better than others but overall I am realling enjoying making cards using the paper as the focal point.
One of todays cards features Carousel Horses and the Bright & Beatiful DSP. My assistant Dorothy designed this card and demonstrated how to put it together during the Live today. Watch full video

This card turned out so cute, I love the Lemon Lolly with the Bubble Bath DSP.
Our second card is a simple layout that I took from a sketch I found on Pintrest. I really loved how it turned out. You can get the free PDF project sheet by clicking here.

After doing this card I had an idea. Years ago my sister made me a bullitin board and it had ribbon criss-crossed where you could put notes and such. So, I thought, why not try it with this bold paper. I must say I like the way this extra card turned out. It takes 25 gems so I decided to use some discontinued ones I had in my stash. I cut the strips of Bubble Bath 1/4" wide and adhered the bottom layer with mini dimensionals, then glued the top strips except on the ends I used dimensionals.
