Welcome to today's Three on Thursday.
Have you ever sat down to make a card and you had no idea what to do? I have many times. Want to know a secret? When this happens I search Pinetrest for a Card Sketch, yep, demonstrators have brain fog. There are so many different card layouts, fun folds, paper, and stamps that sometimes it becomes overwhelming. Today's post is all about what to do when this happens to you.
I am extra busy this week preparing for an all day card class this Saturday. So Thursday comes and I have no idea what cards to make for my video. Pintrest to the rescue! I did a search for card sketches and found so many it was hard to choose. I decided to make one that is simple using minimal supplies.

Measurements:
Card Base - 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" score at 4-1/4"
Layer 1 - 4" x 5-1/4" this can be cardstock or Designer Series Paper
Layer 2 - 2" x 3-1/2" this can be cardstock or Designer Series Paper
Layer 3- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" this can be cardstock or Designer Series Paper
3 strips - 3-1/2" x 1/2" (can be altered to be smaller if you desire)
Greeting piece - 3/4" x 2" (can be altered to accommodate your own greeting)
Inside piece - 4" x 5-1/4"
Directions:
1. Adhere layer 1 to the card base.
2. Adhere layer 2 to the first layer.
3. Adhere the 3 strips to the 2nd layer.
4. Adhere layer 3 on top of the 3 strips.
5. Stamp and adhere the small greeting to bottom right side of the card.
6. Stamp inside greeting and decorate. Adhere to the inside of the card.
If you want to do some stamping on the third layer, do that before you adhere it to the card. Embellish using embellishments of your choice. For card #1 I did some stamping on Basic White and die cut the shapes to put on the third layer, you can see that on card #2 I stamped directly to the third layer, and for card #3 I used Designer Series Paper for the third layer.
