Coffee, Chat, and a Card with Suzie Q
Tomorrow is the first day of fall 🍂 here in my neck of the woods. The trees are beginning to change colors and the temperatures are getting cooler. While fall is not my favorite season, I do enjoy it for several reasons. I love comfort foods, homemade soups, chili, and my hubby's famous chicken pot pie. 🍲 The colors of the trees change to bright vibrant oranges, reds, and yellows. I don't like when said leaves fall, makes for outdoor work. I would much rather be creating cards.

Stampin' Up! ® Winter Meadow Suite
Only 95 days until Christmas
Today I was playing around with the Winter Meadow Suite, or at least part of it. Here is one of the cards I made that I wanted to share with you.
I love Pretty Peacock, and I'm so glad they added it to the core color collection. I haven't decided what to stamp for the inside greeting but you must decorate it. I used a piece of the same DSP cut at 3/4" x 5-1/4".
You can view the How to Video on my YouTube Channel, SuzieQsStamping. You also see the second card I made using the Winter Meadow DSP. Below is the list of supplies used and you can download the project sheet by clicking Here.
If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, I would love the opportunity to help you with your stamping projects and/or questions. Would you like to receive my monthly Newsletter? Christmas Circle Card using Deckeled Circle Dies
Is it too early to begin making Christmas cards?
I demonstrated how to make this fun easel card on my weekly live, September 14, 2023. Life has been so busy I just didn't get it posted. I just love the Oh Holy Night Designer Series Paper Stampin' Up! ®️ offered in the September to December 2023 Mini Catalog. The "Night Devine"dies were used to complete the scene and the greeting was from the "Stars At Night" stamp set.
This is what the card looks like when it is open as an easel.
- Cut the Crumb Cake base once it is scored at 2-7/8" (keep the scrap to cut the stable)
- Use the 3rd largest Deckled Circle Die to cut the card base, lay the circle die over the scored line just a bit.
- Die cut the Starry Sky using the 4th largest Deckled Circle Die for the layer.
- Use the 5th largest Deckld Circle Die to cut the desinger series paper.
- Choose a small star from the Stars At Night Die set and cut from the gold specialty paper.
- From a piece of Starry Sky scrap cut out the 2-3/8" x 1-5/8" rectangle from Nested Essentials Dies.
- Die cut the Nativity from a scrap of Starry Sky.
- Die cut the stable from a scrap of Crumb Cake.
- You can stamp an inside greeting towards the inside top of the card or you can write a personal message.
- Use Versa Mark to stamp the Merry Christmas and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
- Adhere the designer series paper to the Starry Sky mat.
- With the Crumb Cake card opened flat you will adhere the Starry Sky circle to only the bottom of the card base below the score line. Your circle should look like this.

September 2023 Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop Featuring the Inked Botonical DSP
Welcome to this months Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. I know once you see all the beautiful cards posted you will fall in love with the coordinating products. I am using the Inked Botanicals DSP for my focal image of my cards.
I am a Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator from Lake Ozak, Missouri, in the USA. My part of the country is experiencing cooler weather as we head into the fall. The season of changing colors, hayrides, and campfires.
I chose to use a card sketch for my customer appreciation cards this month. Sometimes crafters get in a rut or have a creative block and with a sketch you can get those juices flowing again, This sketch is easy to duplicate for any type of card using any paper combination.
I chose to use Crushed Curry for my card base, with an embossed piece of Very Vanilla. Lost Lagoon is cut at 2-1/4" squares, and the Inked Botanicals DSP are 2" squares. This is so easy to create since the Desinger Series Paper coordinates on both sides. For the inside I used a scrap of DSP at the bottom of Very Vanilla 4" x 5-1/4". A few Classic Matte Dots colored with my Calypso Coral Blend Marker just finished it off. You can see a complete list of supplies used down below.
I would love to send you one of these cards when you place an order this month using my current Host Code found in the upper right corner. If you place an order of $50 or more you will also receive a free card kit that you can put your own creative touches on. I offer a Loyalty Program if you're interested in earning free products from me. If your order is over $150 Do Not Use my host code, I want you to reep the Host rewards from Stampin' Up ®, you will still receive the free card kit and appreciation card.
What do you think of my cards? Leave me a comment below, I love to hear from you.
